Gallego Announces Over $2.4 Million for Arizona Tribes to Lower Home Energy Costs

PHOENIX, AZ - On the first day of Native American Heritage Month, Rep. Ruben Gallego (AZ-03) announced that nine Arizona Tribes were awarded a total of $2,458,891 in funding for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). In addition, the State of Arizona has been awarded $30,937,243. This funding will help Arizona families pay their home heating costs this winter, and cooling bills next summer.
