Gallego Meets with Brother of Carmel and Yarden Gat, Israeli Hostages Held by Hamas

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Rep. Ruben Gallego (AZ-03) met with Or Gat, an Israeli man whose mother was murdered by Hamas terrorists and family was kidnapped during the terrorist group’s October 7 attack on Israel.

“Or Gat’s story is one of incredible tragedy, sorrow, and loss. But, in the meeting with Mr. Gat, what struck me most was his sense of hope. His hope that his family will be freed, and his hope for peace. I relayed to Mr. Gat that I stand with him in his mission to see his family freed, and that I will do everything in my power to ensure Congress supports Israel in its efforts to free these hostages,” said Rep. Gallego.
