Gallego Holds Town Hall with Pastor Aubrey Barnwell
PHOENIX, AZ – Rep. Gallego (AZ-03) joined Pastor Aubrey Barnwell at First New Life Missionary Baptist Church for a town hall today.
“It was a pleasure to join Pastor Barnwell at his church this morning,” Rep. Gallego said. “First New Life Missionary Baptist Church is a rock in our community, and it was especially meaningful to join him during the celebration that is Black History Month. To know how Arizonans are feeling and to hear their concerns, it’s important to get out of the Washington, D.C. bubble and listen to them—unscripted. It was great to answer their questions and I look forward to joining Pastor Barnwell at New Life Missionary again, soon!”
Rep. Gallego met with constituents for well over an hour, took questions from the audience, and hung around after the scheduled program to talk directly with attendees.
