WASHINGTON, D.C. – With the House passage of this year’s omnibus appropriations package, Rep. Ruben Gallego (AZ-07) released the following statement applauding the appropriations funding.
Statement from Rep. Ruben Gallego (AZ-07):
“Arizonans should be proud of today’s omnibus spending package. Thanks to the hard, bipartisan work of the U.S. House, this package contains numerous wins that bring critical dollars to projects in the seventh district. I’m also proud of the funding secured for our Ukrainian partners to combat Russia’s invasion and as co-chair of the House Baltic Caucus, I am pleased with the funds allocated to support our Baltic allies who must deal with the ever-present threat of neighboring Russia. With the House’s approval of this spending package, I look forward to working with my colleagues in the Senate to bring these funds home to Arizona.”
Included in the package is funding for 10 community projects for Arizona’s 7th Congressional District made possible by Rep. Gallego. Click here to view a list of the 10 community projects.
