Gallego Announces Subcommittee Assignments on Natural Resources Committee
Washington, D.C. – Today, Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) announced his subcommittee assignments on the House Committee on Natural Resources for the 118th Congress.
Rep. Gallego will serve on the following subcommittees:
1. Subcommittee on Water, Wildlife and Fisheries
2. Subcommittee on Indian and Insular Affairs
3. Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations
“The Natural Resources Committee faces monumental issues this Congress, and I am proud to serve Arizona as a member of these important subcommittees,” said. Rep. Gallego. “Water issues remain a top priority for me, and at such a critical time for Western water, I look forward to working with my colleagues to find sustainable solutions to the challenges facing the Colorado River basin states. I’m also excited to continue working with our Tribal partners on water sustainability, Tribal sovereignty, and the many other urgent issues facing Indian Country.”
